Getting Error Message
 

Can anyone help me out, I got correct info in eqhost and everything but whenever i try to log in it says "Error - A timeout occured."

anyone know source of this and a remedy to it

This may sound silly but try to reboot your system - it's worked for me in the past...

didn't work :( , any other ideas?

in the same boat... I can log into the servers, but it goes to the char screen and either,

1.) disconnects me
2.) lets me set up a char, and once try to enter world, it takes me to the login screen
3.) won't even recognize the fact that I just created a character.

Well, I'm assuming your just trying to connect to an EqMEU server?

-Patch EQlive to make sure your up-to-date.
-Might want to disable any Firewalls that are active.
-EqHost.txt should read;
[Login Server]
Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994
-Use your forum Username/Password.

Technically, this should get you in.
