Help a damn n00b
 

Ok, i just want to play on your server. But im all ****ed. How im suppose to do that now ? I see at many place "patch" or "no dont patch!" or read this guide (great a link that leads nowhere) and another guide that works ! Yeah, oh but the title says that this is no more good. Damn waht i do now !?! Thanks

Im not sure Im too sympathetic with what you're saying. In the tutorials section there is an up-to-date Play Guide, and on the front page it talks about 5.9-DR2's release and compatability with EQLive...

Regardless, there was a patch on the 16th (today) which may have broken 5.9-DR2. Can anyone verify this or not?

As far as I know todays patch did. I log in, create my character and load the world. before I actually enter the world though I am booted back to the server select. Really sucks cause I just installed again this morning and did not realize there was a patch today. *sigh* So now I will wait until this is fixed or confirmed or whatever.
