Getting error Received unknown opcode: 0x0376 size:0 bytes
 
i get this error everytime a person tryes connecting to my server and a zone.exe dissapeares i dont know whats wrong now this is one that im stumped on i checked everything in my files to the letter and found no problems here is the world .exe txt and btw i am running 5 zones after the first 5 went away i reclicked my boot5zones.bat to get 5 more.

is it the spell error causeing it to get rid of the zone's.exe?
i dont think that is the problem but if it is i need to find out how to fix it lol

You PMed me before, but now I know why.

You are using the wrong IP address in the wrong space in your boot5zones.bat file.

Go to www.whatismyip.com, look at the big number, and write it down. Let's say you go there and the number is 68.67.66.65 .. Your boot5zones should look like this:

You can exchange 127.0.0.1 with localhost, and also be sure to replace 68.67.66.65 with the IP address on whatismyip.com.

Also, be sure to forward the ports of 7995 - 8000 (more if you want more zones) so the people can connect.

This should fix the problem.

Also, to fix that big items error thing run this in a MySQL query:

ALTER TABLE `items` CHANGE `unknown008` `SpellCharges` INT(11) DEFAULT "0" NOT NULL;
That will remove the error.

what is the exact code to get to where you type that to fix that error is it mysql~root eq?

Get to your mysql directory in a command prompt.

I type in

Code:
mysql -u root mysql
Then,

Code:
grant all privileges on *.* to username@localhost idenitified by 'password' with grant option;
Replace username and password with your user/pass for MySQL.

From there, type in "use <database>;"

Replace <database> with the name of your database.

Then type in the query posted above. I use an older version of MySQL and am not sure if the 'mysql -u root mysql' will work anymore. If not, browse around for how you would do it.

n/m i got that error fixed lets see if the zone.exe error is fixed knowing the help you provided me before it will be fixed =P ty
