problem patching

okay i have followed the tutorial...I changed my eqhost.txt file to this and only this

Quote:

[LoginServer]
Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994

I right clicked it then selected Properties and clicked Read-only...Apply...OK. I start the game and it searches the files. It then changes my eqhost.txt back to

Quote:

[LoginServer]
Host=eqlplogin1.everquest.com:15900

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you set your EQ Shortcut target section to the following:

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

yes....it is set to

No, instead of Everquest.exe, change it to eqgame.exe
