lates patch was release of oow, got that one.
fixed the eqhoste.txt with the stuff u posted.
account done and eqgame.exe fixed, still getting error msg

actually there was another small patch i beleive. My live wasn't working so i had to patch again a few days ago.

There was a patch on the 25th...that may have broke it...not really sure when 6.0 came out...think it was the patch right before the 25th one :?

run the EQ patcher as normal, patch to live

change eqhost.txt to read

make sure there are NO SPACES anywhere, even a space after [LoginServer] can cause it to time out.

make the eqhost.txt file READ ONLY

What the patch does, or i think it does, is overwrite your eqhost.txt at the last second to live servers.
