Blank server list (Minilogin) leading to 1017

I have finally ammaged to get EQEMU uploaded, patched, etc. World is running along with the 5 Zone thingys. No error messages there.
Running minilogin..ok no problems there.

On my other PC (this one is inside the network) finally with HOSTS sorted, etc I manage to connect. Looking at the minilogin screen it tells me that I am connected.

The problem is that then the server list wondows comes up on EQ and is totally blank. Any idea what i may be doing wrong please?

It sounds like your server has not connected to minilogin. Post your LoginServer.ini and the output of minilogin.exe and world.exe.

Once your world.exe has booted, if you switch to the minilogin window and press the 'L' key, it should list your server, e.g.

Does your server show up if you do that ?

Pressing L, well it shows my server fine, apart from Status is 0 as is the AccID.

Nooo - it stopped working!!! Not that it WAS working properly!

DOH, THOUGHT I HAD SORTED IT!!!

OK - the problem was sort of solved by seeing somewhere else that someone had modified their 5zonebat thingy.

basically all i did was to add START MINILOGIN before the 5 zone calls and the WORLD after them.

So all i need do is double click on the bat file and its up and running.

I have another problem now !

I can see the server but as soon as I click connect it gives me good old 1017 error. I have GRANTED privileges.

Anyone any ideas please?

ok if you canw ait till about 8:30 9pm pacific Standard Time i will be uploading a manual fixing all the errors and setting up a minilogin . SO by tonight it will be done unless you ge an answer befor then... kk?

When was the last time you patched Everquest?

Can you post your Loginserver.ini and your boot5zones.bat please?
