Winter Roar 1017
 

I would post this on their site but their site wont send me the activation email I need so I cant post...anyway


Hiya, I am new to WR but am familuar with EQEmu and have played it before.

I am having trouble with the 1017 Error...

I have followed all of the steps listed both in the WR forums and on the main site...

I only have one Everquest file since I am away at college and cant play normal eq so I just using it for EMU...

I have patched EQ to full on Nov 4, 2004 and have ran all the proper patches acording to the site...

I have tried different host files but the one I am using right now and am still getting the 1017 error with is:

{
"register.eqemulator.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"24.174.185.97:5997"
"207.36.180.194:5997"
}


I have no clue what could be wrong any help would be great, thank you!

you Eqhost.txt is incorect. use this



[LoginServer]
Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994


should do the trick

When i put that in i cant even get past the login screen says there is no eqhost file...

THC-Used is wrong, you probably had the correct eqhost, however you should go to www.wintersroar.com and ask them about it
