Interessted in starting a server got 10mbit dedicated fiber
 

Hi all!

I would like to re experience everquest for what it once was. But i dont have the knowledge to put up a server for it.

I have a good connection in sweden with 10mbit full duplex fiber line with below 1ms to the backbones here in sweden.

I also have a P4 2800mhz 800bus with 1024 DDR RAM to 40gb 7200IDE 133HD to dedicate as a eqemu server.

I would like server to be much like guildwars, with max level 50 and only the old world (pre kunark / velious)

you need to start your own project with a few others with the same goal as your's smedy, dont give your server away to any of them.

Smedy, get with tcsmyworld, the project needs a good stable server to test the databases on for release(also one of the dev's uses the PEQ server for code testing so you wouldnt have to worry about updating code..8) )
