Screen to dark
 

I am running EQ Platinum which has all 8 expansions. I am using the newest eqemu and Kunark db. I am also using minilogin. My problem is that when the game loads the load screen is black, everything loads extremely fast (zones,char. and such at startup) when I get to the char. creation screen all you can see is the light from the torches and can make out a shadow of movement. Thenwhen I
zone to freeport againall you can see are the spell effects fromthe pallys and shadows of their movement, everything else is pitch black as if the lighting effect is not functioning.
Any ideas or help please send them my way.

Hi, I had a simular problem. When i zoned in all i could see was gray everywhere and like you said only torches and such. I solved my problem by patching to live and then using one of my older eq directories got the neccessary files in order to backpatch. This solved my problem. Unfortunatly i cannot give u the files to backpatch after you patch to EQLive.
