What happened to frozenshadows?
 

It was a semi-legit server. I took a break from eq and then when i came back, no frozenshadows. I loved that server. anyone know what happened?

Did I ask for an opinion? If I recall, I didn't. I asked if anyone knew why it's gone.

It's gone because people don't feel like paying to keep a server up. Most servers don't last long. You should join a long term project in my opinion (mostly run by developers of EQEMu). Those are the Green and Yellow servers. Servers are only given a green name when they have been around for a while and have shown stability.

The servers that have been up for a long time:

The Great Escape (Under development for a few months now, http://www.tgeserver.com/, no opening date)
Guild Wars (Opened Friday the 4th, http://www.eqguildwars.com/)
Winter's Roar (Seperate Loginserver, check http://www.wintersroar.com/)
Scorpious 2k (Seperate Loginserver, check http://www.scorpious2k.com/)
Dark Horizons (Under development, no opening date)
... and of course PEQ: The Grand Creation

and i told you why, because no one wants to play semi-legit because the whole idea of it makes no sense.

Thanks Virus. I Was a GM on frozenshadows and I loved it. I made items for it. If anyone knows another server I could do this, tell me!

Not all servers that have been around awhile have a green or yellow name ....Nor the ones that plan to be around awhile .... Sorry not a semi-legit though, Like to have people enjoying all the time I've put into it for more then a few minutes ....Sak

Sak, Could you reword that? not to be hateful but that made absolutley no sense. If you do know a place I could be Item creator or spawn tweaker?
