General play question

Any hint of when the DO NOT PATCH will not be in effect and we are able to effectively patch to live and play emu?

Have you read some of the posts under General::News?

The devs are working to get it live compatible as soon as possible. There is not an ETA, it will be when they are ready to release it...and most likely, once it is released, two days later Sony will patch again.

6.1DR2 has a CVS release apparently and I'm under the impression that it's Live compatible. Don't take my word on that, but you might be able to get a copy and play. =)

If you ever tried programming..Even a simple program. You probably wouldnt be asking the question. LOL. And the bigger the prog gets the easier it is to
fall or go completely nuts!

Anyway the advice I can give is to NOT check in everyday and just look at the red letters "Do Not Patch" a assume there is no live version..Its better to read the posts. Im new but if I had assumed this a while back ago I would have missed the "window" and not be playing now..

So Im guessing the red letters will disapear when the emu has been compatible for an amount of time that the devs feel comfortable that
its working good enough for all.

Thats just a wild guess..Im new to all this but what Im trying to say most of all is that a little detective work can pay off here big time!
