Didn't figure out. Gave up. Would much rather just play EQEmu on Cheaters with Sdabbs and all the other cool peepz

Sounds like your EverQuest Client version doesn't match the EQEmulator version. There isn't much you can do other than wait until the Emulator cathes up with live. =(

Are you behind a firewall? Because it doesn't seem that your server is getting any data from your client.
Also, are you connecting to the same loginserver that your world.exe is? |
If you are behind a NAT firewall, this thread might help you:

The fact world.exe doesn't say anything about a "new connection" coming in leads me to believe that yes, you have a hardware or software firewall that's blocking that, or the NAT situation that Doodman referred to.
This is why I had you post on forums. I just now getting to read this due to a power outage (that I'll be posting about shortly to give you all a laugh, stand by), but I see other very qualified people have already answered :) |
Or maybe something is wrong with your loginserver.ini.
Also, I don't see anything about zones connecting to your world in your output?? But a version mismatch seems a lot more likely. |

Erm, BTW
By the way, I am tryign to host a public server not MiniLogin :)

Try setting your world address to your external IP address and not 127.0.0.1
I use a Linksys router and can host a server with only DMZ turned on, so I think you should be pretty much covered as far as being able to get in and out. =P It's gotta be something with settings or versions. EDIT:: Oh, and your eqhost.txt should be going to 5994 and not 5999. |
