error 1017 on s2k
 

ok i did everythin it said to do on the website downloaded all files zipped em to eq folder made shortcut did everythin i can login to server select screen but when i got to enter world i get booted bak to server select screen and get the 1017 error im gettin really annoyed and wanna play s2k bad someone plz help me out

Why you don't ask on S2K forum ? You have better support :)
A error 1017 is a bad client version, i think in your problem.
Perhaps you make wrong thing, or download bad files ...
Try to better read S2K intructions and ask to kindly site admin :)

i asked the adminstrator hes been tryin to help me and still doesnt work and yea i posted a thread on s2k server no one seems to know i followed all instructions correct i know i did files are not bad im pretty sure cuz i tried re downloadin em patchin to live and my eqhost is right i just dont know wats rong
