Connection problems but only with Emu.
 

Hey guys. I've recently just installed EverQuest, and fully patched to live. I've came across a patcher, and when I patched Eqemu.....logged in, and tried to connect to a server, nothing happens for a minute, than an "ERROR 1017" message pops up. I know y'all have been asked about this many times, and I'm sorry for being lazy. I can log onto EQLive fine, just not Emu.

Well being that I'm new to all this as well I've run into that several times. So far it seams to happen when I try to login to a public server that I can see but my client verson is incorrect.

For example I usually see 6.1-DR1, 6.1-DR2, and now 6.2-DR0(?) but my client is set for 6.1-DR1 so the others give me that 1017 error and says I need to repatch.

Oops it also sounds like you are patched to live which means that you can only get on the 6.2 servers there is one that is a beta test by PEQ, try that one.
