0.6.1 compatible with 0.6.2
 

Was just wondering if the 6.1 version was compatible with the 6.2 live version, or if I have to wait for a new version?

Most commonly, 0.A.B-DRX and 0.A.B-DRY are compatible, but 0.A.B and 0.A.C clients are never compatible.

I am having a heck of time getting minilogin0.6.1 working with 0.6.2. I tried changing out the opcodes.conf with the one that comes with 6.2 and still no go. It was missing the Op_ServerDisconnect opcode. I added the one that was in 6.1 (I know it will be wrong) to see if I could connect to the server but I now get a unknown packet error in the minilogin shell.

Anyone have the correct opcodes.conf that will work with minilogin?

minilogin 6.1 does not work with 6.2, even with new opcodes. a new minilogin is in the works and should be out soon.

Any idea on a calendar date for release? And who is the primary dev for Minilogin?

Thanks for the info. I kind of thought I would need a new version. Can't wait so I can work on my server and it get to a point where I can make it public.

Doodman is working on it. I couldn't say when it will be released, though

It was updated by Doodman on 9/7/2005 and has been released already. I have no clue why nobody seems to be aware its out yet.
