0.6.1DR2 to 0.6.2?
 

Hey again all,

Well I went ahead and followed Iwantavr4's guide for setting up a PEQ Velious server located here:

Fantastic guide by the way! I'm pretty sure I've gotten everything working and things seem to be clean in the World and Zone exe's. I am, however, unable to connect with the following error:

A quick forum search revealed this is probably due to client/server version mismatch which makes sense as I'm patched to Live.

I'm able to connect to the PEQ preferred server that's running 0.6.2 and it works great. My question is, can someone assist me in getting up to spec so I may run with my live patch like i can on the PEQ Preferred server? I don't know how to upgrade to 0.6.2. I tried just replacing files (World,Zone,lots of others) but it wasn't that simple. Go figure ;-)

I'm so anxious to play on my own server!! Thanks as always. Hope i'm not inundating with support requests.

You are probably going to have to wait for a tutorial to come along. It seems to be fairly more difficult than setting up a 6.1 type server. I have gotten no where so far.
