fixed...but
ok i fixed that i forgot a # before the opcode but it just crashes after it says
[status] EmuShareMem loaded then it pops up a box saying World.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience |
Bren, you were able to fix this? Here is the output from my world.exe. Is this what you were able to fix? If so, did you have to use a different opcodes.cfg file? I am using the file that came with the 6.2 binary. As it is now, I can connect to the server, create a new char and when I "enter world", my zone.exe instance I am sent to blows up and my client just hangs for a long time until I get tossed back to the server select screen.

but i cant get past the loading emushare can you help me?

I added the fix you suggested, but I don't think it is doing anything other than just supressing the error message. zone.exe still crashes when I enter world. I guess I just dont understand how the pEQ server can run 6.2 binaries but no one else can seem to get it to run. The PEQ server is the only 6.2 server I can log into.

WOOT! I got my server to work. I didnt have any maps in my Maps subdirectory. When I loaded those in, I can now log into my server! Of course, I still get the missing opcodes in my opcodes.cfg from world.exe, but atleast I am in!

Nice
Are you having any problems with client crashing when zoning? I seem to be able to connect (With opcode errors) but everytime i try to zone, client crashes.
World.exe shows: Quote:

Aside from some zone points in the PEQ database not being accurate to live, I have no problems zoning. Once I populated my Maps subdirectory, zone.exe has been stable for me.

I might have celebrated early.. I got into my server once, I then downed it, changed NOTHING, then rebooted it and I havent been able to log in again since. Same as before, I enter world and a zone.exe crashes.. :-( Only, this time, I have maps in my Maps subdirectory so I dont get it.
