EQ Emulator Server

Alright, I have not played Everquest in almost 3 or 4 years. I quit when Luclin(sp?) came out. I hate that thing. So I wanted to make a emulator server with just Kunark and Velious expansions. I am pretty new to this and I have a mysql server up. I am looking for anyone who would like to help me, I am a noob and will ask alot of questions. Im also aware that the 9/13 patch break the emulator. Also, I believe that you cannot play the EQ emu off a clean installation. So, would I need a very old version of the emulator or is this not possible?

not possible, best bet is to wait till we catch up and do it then.

so when you guys say "9/13 EQ Patch Breaks 0.6.2 (Which we are freezing on) " you dont mean a permanent freeze? As in you guys ARE going to be releasing a version of eqemu that works with a subsequent patch or live?

I'm sure it'll happen eventually, but they don't want you to plan on being Live compatible anytime soon.

Basically mattmeck's saying "it'll happen when it happens."

Once i get it working, flowing nicely then i can support the community alittle more with some of my ideas. I hope.

Thanks

If you read the forum rules, you'll see that asking for those files is forbidden.
