Setting up problem
 

ok i jsut 550 for a dedicated server, now i let all the updates run and did all that great stuff, but i cannot download the Eqemulator maps file from the webpage i get an error that restarts my computer about halfway through DLing, and i got 3/4 to finish a few times but always the crash. If my memory serves me, isn't .tar a linux file type? because thats what the map pack is or whatever.

tar is a unix archive format which Winzip should be able to open without problem. If the simple act of transferring data is causing your entire system to reboot, you need to take a hard look at your system. The web site may have problems with its transfers, but any problems it has should show themselves as an aborted or incomplete download, not in a crashed program or rebooted system.
