Error missing dll when launching eq
 
Hello,

Frseh installation of eq titanium and the help of wiki guide :)

windows server 0.7.0

have this error when launching Runeq Emu

eqlaunch.exe can't start MSVCP71.dll missing ......

Any idea please ?

You probably didn't install EQ on the server.

That file and another file are missing off your server machine because EQ isn't installed. You can fix this two ways.

1) install EQ on your server machine
2) search for those files on another machine/interent/etc and copy them to the proper directory.

I believe they belong in windows/system32. Any computer with EQ on it will have the two files you need. You are only aware of one right now. Once you find that first one, you'll get a second one that will be needed.

The wiki does say to install EQ on the server depending on which guide you follow. I'll update the 7.0 guide when I get a moment.

the second .dll missing is MSVCR71.dll

And the next problem is that I'm frozen at login using mini/mini nothing happened :( server say new client from ip 127.0.0.1 .......think missing something or ???

Look at the mini-login sectino of this guide closely.

Sounds like the IP of the connecting client doesn't match the IP you have set for that client in the data base.

Follow the above guide exactly and you will get it working.
