Guide for updating ITEMS with the PEQ database
 

Here is how to update the ITEMS for the PEQ database using the 13th Floor Items:

It took me a while to figure it out on my own but I thought I would post it here becuase maybe someone else finds it useful?

I'm wondering how old they are though - I'm thinking there isn't much, if any "public" updates since WindowsServer70 was released

I think it was about 550 extra items or so...

hm this didnt seem to work for me after i did
6) Type "drop items" (without the quotes)

7) Type "source items.sql" (without the quotes)
Now close the window. do i hit enter? or ;enter
and i cant get my cmd window to go to C:\perl\ any ideas?
im not advanced on this at all sorry for the problems

After you're done with the sql commands<hitting ENTER after each command>, close the window.
Then you must naviagte to your command prompt.
For example: Hit "Start"/"Command Prompt" or "Start"/"Run"/then type "cmd" (all without the quotes of course).

Then, the easiest way to get to the Perl directory is:
cd\
Then: cd perl

then you can run the command.

Worked well.

I had problems with my perl so I updated to the latest version. Also, I had to correct for DBI and DBD/mysql error. Just installed followed by installing DBI and DBD-Mysql by going to start > run > ppm install DBI and finally start>run>ppm install DBD-mysql

After that, following your steps worked like a charm (regardless of what the wiki guide says about 13th floor importing).

From the wiki:

'load_13thfloor_items.pl' which is located in your EQEmu\Source\0.7.0\utils directory

I was unable to find this. There was no Source folder.
