d3dx9_30.dll not found
 

When I click on my shortcut to eqgame.exe I get the following error.

This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Has anyone ever had this error before?

did you find the missing file and install it?

I had the same problem, but after some searching, I found the solution.

You just need to install the latest(I think the april edition) of direct x 9.0c. It has the file(s) you need, because you might be needing more than just that one, it just checks for that one first.

After a quick update of my DX files I was ready to rock. Problem solved.
