I almost got it working!.. but then
 

Hello :D im new to this, however I did almost get it working.

with one little error I tried to fix myself, which made things ALOT worse or so it seems iv been up all night trying to get it to work the thing that didnt work is, when I started up EQ and logged in with my EQEmu Login details, the server screen poped up for a moment and there was my servers name!! I was thrilled.

Then before I could click on anything boom everquest had an error and had to close.. this happened 3 times (*thats how many times before I realised it just wasnt going to work*). (I hope this has happened to someone else so we can fix) if I get it working again...

well now I thought I will reinstall everything and it will be fine.. so I uninstalled everything, so ok first step from this guide right here

is to installed MySQL and run it and a pop up window with username and password technically should pop up no? even though iv uninstalled it and reinstalled it.. nope.. and thats where im stuck :)

I got it working :P I logged into my very own server at 5:25AM :) hehe ok.. now I need to start working on it but cant work out how to actually log into the game as an Admin or GM to see how it all works, im going to try adding another account and loggin into that with GM privlidges If I can

Go into your account table, and change your own status to 300, thats GM-Impossible.

EDIT
Make sure to restart or use #flag status on yourself if you edited the table while your server was up.

got that working :) but cant seem to add an account for a freind :(

lol im just going to shut up.. I say how do you do this... then I find it out lol.. one thing tho can someone try my server see if you can get it and things and report back its up at the moment called Apocalypse :)
