last eqemu for last patch ?
 

Hello everyone,

i just discovered you and try to use eqemu only for me and maybe one friend or two, old official everquest players.

i have installed mysql, pearl, peq maps and a pack 6.6 ofeqemu. nice all seems works but last exe is not compatible.

next i try tu use 7.0 until the last you have created. But something was wrong the server is never up ...:(

can someone help and complete the process to install ? many link in the website give useful info who was not in the .doc file ( like install dbi etc )

Ps i have installed with my many cds and patched the game.

You aren't supposed to patch to live

hello,

i have tried to install my everquest without patching it. copy all dll needed in the eq directory.

Eqemu don't work my game are too old.

just remember than eqemu 6.6 and game patched see all together ( i log with minilogin ) but no server appear and the game says 0 expansions owned.

for eqemu 7.0 maybe i need to wait a newbie version ^^ server don't even start.

Maybe my problem is just create a log with x expansions... ( i have supposed the player/eq created in mysql was that ...)

you have to buy Titanium edition, its the only one that works.

just got my titanium pack from usa...

at moment my sever was broke but when it was running i have seen some things :
- pok was empty
- AA windows empty ( trying the op-code but no result)
- red skeleton near felwith starting newbie area ( joke )

can someone help me ?
i use the 3.52 pack ( will try later to update to 0.7.845)

Not all zones are spawned, PeQ DB has nothing PoP or newer

AA's dont work with Titanium, its being worked on

Mistakes happen when spawning everything by hand, delete it if you dont want it.

You might have no mobs on POK if you did not copy correctly the map files in the map folder. It seems stupid but many people here copied a map folder within the map folder...

If you want to update to 0.7.0 - 845 apply all the mysql modifications that are in the changelog.txt file.

For AA windows I am not sure that the version 0.7.0 had the AA active. But if you want to update to 0.7.0 - 845 you should have all the AA activated... Well not all but most of them. I saw some bugs in the AA tree and I am trying to figure out where the problem is before submitting something.

Last point... not sure that the POP zones are populated. I have normal population with bosses ect in all zones except zones above POP extension... I mean I went to bothunder, potimeb ect and nothing was up (I still need to check GOD ect...). In templeveeshan all the dragons were up and asskicking me... (ok not realy thanks /invul :) )

I will re-install eqemu with peq database with 0.7.0 845 one i will have read and understand changelog.txt.

i have discovered than peq release luclin expansion, that sound good. Pop will be up later maybe. I don't understand soft for taking data from the live game, shame on me...:(

Near 2 years i have stopped to play on the live server, i can say the world is alive like skeletons in kelethin ( i remember tiny mobs like small bats and the like). I can say Everquest is ever a great game.

just to know, peq speak about their own server which name it has ? i ve tried delaya, sound good but seems far for the real server. i m nostalgique from my begin in this game ( around 6 years ) ^^
