Dual Core Help
 

ok just got a new computer built got a AMD 4400+ dual core and im having thae problem playing

i looked around it says use winlauncherXP

got that but i dont really know how to run it didnt come with instructions or on the website.

someone please walk me through using this program to help fix the problem so i can get back to playing EQEMU =)?

As I understand it -
1. Start EQ
2. Bring up the task manager (alt-ctrl-del)
3. Find the EQGAME.EXE job in the "processes" tab.
4. Right click the process and select "Set Affinity"
5. Deslect either (doesn't matter which one) of the cores and hit ok.
6. Close task manager and play
