Developing a Login Server (EQ2)

-Why did I post in this forum?

This is a univeral issue (EQEmulator is similiar to EQ2Emulator) and it is a general topic.

-The issue:

I managed to get a copy of the EQ2Emulator Source Code and I would like to refine it a little. I noticed that the login server wasn't completely finished and I'd like a little information on how I could continue developing it. I'd be glad if someone gave me a few hints or just a little help.

word to the wise dont even think about touching the eq2emu source until LE gets back from afghanistan. You will have no idea what is going on and as for the login server idea forget it we already had a stable one going that worked with multiple client versions.

We're refining an emulator for EQ Live (that's EQ1, btw) here, so it's doubtful you'll find many interested in changing course because EQ2 is your game of choice.

As stated the last time you asked about an EQ2 Emulator, some here are involved or have been, and might be kind enough to offer advice. I, however, do not care to see EQEmulator littered with another Emulators issues.
