Looking For Server Or will Host
 

Hi all. Its been three years since i quit EQ and was on this forum.

I have totally lost interest in any game and really miss EQ. If someone has a server up and running please tell me how i can access them and if not i still sit in a data center with a AMD 64 machine sitting in back pretending to be a movie server.(LAN only)

If someone is REALLY good at setting up emulators and has been on this forum for awhile i will give them UltraVNC access and they can go to town setting up a server on our 0c3 line. I can put the machine back up to 4 gig of ram.

I so miss EQ .

I would also like to do the same. I have been trying to get help setting up a permanant server for a month. I dont have a OC3, but I have two dedicated 10 M connections with BGP for fault tolerance. I have intentions of setting up a permanent server as well to help contribute to the community as well as learn some of the EQEmu side of things. But its just not happening.

I cant seem to get the emulator off the ground. I have a WoW private server running but wanted to do this instead. I am not having much luck though :(

How many people are actually still paying to play? I am surprised they still have 10 + live servers in existence.

I want to open this server up to the public by the way.

i just want to get in the game on my own server and rape every npc in there after making myself godlike...

Sure is. That's what 90% of the private emulators are for. :)
