Installwizard Shield Error

Alright, not sure if anyone can help me with this but here it goes. I have EQ installed already and patched up because I play live. I went to load my old Titanium CD's so I could put it fresh into a new folder and try out some emu's but I keep getting a error with in a split second when drive starts to read the CD. the error reads....

InstallShield Wizard

Setup has experienced an error.

Please do the following
-Close any running programs
-Empty your temporary folder
-Check your Internet connection (Internet-based Setups)
Then try to run the Setup again.
Error code: -6001

I have no clue what this is from, but I just bought a brand new titanium today because I figured the old CD's were screwed and the new CD's do the exact same thing. The EQ help site just gives you a link to download the raw patcher and basicly you download the entire game from them. So I guess I could use some input on what I might try doing to get a fresh folder made with just my CD's and none of the live patches. BTW I did empty my temp folder and closed all programs like the error suggested still not working :-x

p.s. Thanks in advance for anyone who post something that is not a flame :-D

from the game's site:

Quote:

2. Setup Error Code -6001

Description: When attempting to run one of the EverQuest installation applications, an error may be displayed stating that the setup application has failed with an error code -6001. Usually, this is not an issue with the installation media, but it is an issue with the InstallShield application.

Work-Around Steps: This InstallShield application error indicates a corrupt verison of InstallShield is installed on your computer. To correct this issue, simply delete the following folder from your computer and attempt to run the installer again:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\0701

If this fails to correct the problem, we recommend you RENAME (not delete) the entire C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\ folder and try again.
You may rename the folder to anything you like, but we recommend something similar to 'InstallShield-old'.
part that might help is bolded.
Hope that was what you were looking for.
