Sorry everyone I am back. I am in the process on turning out a new server. I had a rlf try to turn me to WOW but after a couple months playing it realized it was not the same. I see there has been a lot of changes. Good job to everyone who made the changes.

As many find out - like old classic movies - you get a EQ cult like following - not saying we are worshippers or anything...

Perhaps we are all seeking the land of the lost? That place that Everquest use to be when we first started playing it? It is a fake place that drives real human emotions, wondering what is around that next corner, falling from a boat in the middle of the sea with no hope of help, just your human determination to make it to a shoreline with your self intact. Going into a dungeon knowing that its all you if things go wrong, you may get so far in that there is no hope of corpse retrieval. Or conning a red and thinking I can take him if I just do this perfect and winding up walking a day and a half back to your corpse. Taking notice of the textures beneath your feet, the ones on the walls and even that there is actually shape to the snowflakes.People that really wanted help and to be helped, out of the basic human need of companionship which in a game seemed to evolve much more quickly then it did in real life into what runs the games today...Greed, the want for everything uber even if it means the destruction of friendships. People now want to run through a game as fast as they can and grab as many items along the way as possible without a second thought as to the people or the asthetics around them. I believe that if the people left on Everquest today where givin a new expansion which consisted of one big ass long hallway with no textures whatsoever on the walls but uber loot every ten feet protected by some big stupid ass mob they would be more then happy to pay and play. They have now , The ability to port there corpse to them no matter where they died, and what does it cost them? some plat..there is no need to have friends that are willing to help you go get it nor a friend that is a cleric for it just takes a couple plat to bring it back to you via an NPC.and this thought up by the company that swears its all about grouping and friendships. Well I think this place reminds us of a much better time within Everquest or any other game for that matter. This place is not about greed but about friends helping friends and I hope it continues for many more years........
