Error A timeout has occured.
 

First I am not running a server, I am just trying to log into EQEmu.

I followed guide. When I get to screen with the black wolf, I punch in login name/password, click connect and after a second it says...

Error-A Timeout has occurred.

Anyone able to help with this please. It would be appreciated greatly.

check your firewall, and your virus protection software, check your router, make sure the program or the ports its using isnt blocked, it probably times out because it cant reach the server or its taking to long.

mine said this the first time i tried but i refreshed my internet connection and opened eq on my firewall and it worked fine the next time.
