I'm back - and on a Mac

Hey all,
I'm back, and on a mac this time.

I did a search, but didn't find adequate results about mac compatibility.

I was wondering - can I connect to EQEmu on a mac, using EQ for Mac?

If so, how?

Thanks!

If it isn't possible, I'll just run bootcamp and dual boot.

If you're running a client - doesn't matter where from, as long as you can run it.

even if its EQ for Mac?

I have a SoE account, so I can play if the emu doesn't support it, but it would be cool... considering there is only one server for the mac, so there probably aren't that many people playing.

Is the mac a intel mac? if so use bootcamp and install windows and use the windows client from titanium

Yeah... I think I'm going to end up doing that... although I have a laptop running windows, nothing impressive (1.5GB RAM, ATI graphics, 1.8GHZ processor) although I patched it to live.

I'll make another installation and play on that... for now, I'll stick with EQ for Mac and WoW on my mac.

and yeah, its an intel mac.

I have access to a Macbook, I was going to see about getting EQEmu to compile under Mac OS X on Intel Macs one of these days. There aren't any endian issues, so it's certainly possible though I am not sure how easy of a task it will be.

Cavedude, I'm not at all talking about running the emu on a mac - I'm talking about playing on one.

Aye, I just felt this was semi-relevant. For the time being bootcamp is your best bet, until a decent version of WINE emerges for Mac OS.

thanks for the help.
