Crash Between Login & Server Menu
 

Okay I have had to go through each step. Did a fresh install of Titanium this morning (no previous EQ existed on the computer.) I found that my widescreen display (1400x900res) was causing the initial eqgame.exe crash (before I could even get to the Terms&Agreement part.) So I cut down the Resolution and it let me get to the login screen.

From the Login Screen I had the timeout error, after looking through numerous threads and the wiki I was finally able to get past this one. Now i'm at my next problem. I put in my Username & PW and hit enter, it will briefly show the Patch Notes (something about a Halloween Event) and crash out from a eqgame.exe error.

What can I do to fix this? I have looked everywhere and I bought my copy of Titanium specifically for this (haven't played EQ since PoP released.)

Edit: Drivers, DirectX, etc all up to date.

Finally was able to get past this. Had to set the mouse over the OK button on the patch notes. Once clicked before the Error came up it took me to the server list and crashed me out. When I tried again the patch notes were not there and it worked fine.

Did you buy a store- bought titanium? you can't be patching, if you are patching, then you have to re-install , you have to use "eqgame.exe patchme" NOT everquest.exe.

Store bought Titanium, zero patching (used the "patchme" part on shortcut.) The patch note was something about a Halloween Event, as I said once I clicked ok before the error came up it has been gone since and I can use the servers fine.

Speaking of which, i've looked around, where can I find a breakdown of info on some of the servers? I know I saw one when I first came back here and looked around but haven't seen it since.

Scratch that, now i'm once again crashing at the Server Select. I can use Quick Connection fine but I am only able to use that one server.

The hollween thing is just something SOE had in there for the titanium clients that were supposed to be used on live the same time the game was realease. I get it also. Now I was crashing without any notices after this due to a typo in my username. I have yet to once see the Eqgame.exe has died error like everyone else seen. Wierd though. I might have seen the survey once upon a time as it does kinda stand out in my mind so I proabably clicked on it and saved myself the hassle that others are expeirencing now.

when you start eq up go into task manager then processes

select everquest.exe

right click on it and set affinity

select the tick box on CPu 0

Chute, are you simply attempting to play EQEmu on someone elses server or are you attempting to run a server of your own?

Trying to play on Krushors server.

When I try to set the Affinity on the process it says Access Denied the moment I click the Set Affinity. The survey won't come up for me, is there anyway around this?
