Mobs attacking eachother

I am currently a gm for inquistus and at the moment am making a custom zone, i wanted to know how to make two mobs hit eachother and keep fighting... forever i guess they both have 10mil hp so can anyone tell me how to do this

This would cause a ton of lag and CPU performance hits. Because you'd need to code your mobs to attack and assist. So every second they're scanning their aggro radius, checking faction, then intiating combat on the serverside. Not reccomended, and why eqemu has very rarely turned this on(other than city guards)

thank you for the reply, it was quick thanks for notifying me it'd make lag

The key is to set npc_aggro in npc_types to 1. Then, set the two mobs on opposing factions. npc_aggro should only be set on the mobs you wish to be involved, and nothing else because as stated above it will cause horrid lag, even if they do not aggro other npcs. But you can certainly have a few different groups duking it out, so two mobs will not cause any lag at all.

NPCs have to check their faction and aggro radius all the time anyway, so that point in this case is not a factor.
