EQEmulator Forums - Problems connecting to PEQ's Grand Creation server?

I tinkered with EQEMU a while ago, even ran my own server for a short time.

Decided to come back and try it out as a player, instead of giving myself the headache of running a server again.

Anyway, I'm looking for a server that is very close to live. Modified servers a cool, but i played EQ for a long time, and i sort of like the world the way they had it.

I'm reading that the PEQ server runs what i;m looking for. However i;m having trouble connecting to it.

I'm able to connect to other servers (I connected to Jest 3 with no problems. When i try PEQ it sits for 30 seconds or so, and then just pops back to the login screen. I've been able to produce the error stating that i should re-run my patches once or twice but i obviously cant do that.

I'm running the out of the box EQ Titanium client, which is what was recommended in the play guide that i found at http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=PlayGuide.

It feels like i have the wrong patch level, or expansions. I have NOT patched to live. I installed the client, and the first thing i did was change the login server addr, and the game shortcut. I dont think the install's even seen sony's servers.
