Hey guys! I recently installed EQTitanium and went through the setup directions found here: http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=PlayGuide

After going through these steps I successfully loaded the game and connected to the login server. However this is the point at which I get stuck. I'm trying to select the Tallon/Vallon Zek PvP server but each time I select the server the screen goes black and it kicks me back to the login where I have to reenter my password. From everything I've read up to this point I've done everything necessary to connect... Has anyone else had this problem before?

I actually had this issue with my laptop on WinXP. 95% of the time it did exactly what you describe. 3% would load a character select, and the last 2% would let me in the game all the way, with massive lag due to video issues. Upgraded to Vista, that got rid of almost all of the problems, for whatever reason. I am blaming memory manager on XP, but even that doesn't make sense. Other would be drivers...but with Vista seems like half of them are "beta"...at any rate, that was my experence with the issue. What is causing it? No clue, but I would check out video drivers, refresh rate, and even the resolution.
