your thoughts on eqemu
 

i was trying out hq emu before i found out about this one yesterday and i think these guys really are headed in a good direction. be that its far from completion overall, i tihnk this emu is a lot better so far. im just wondering what others have to say that have tried hq emu before also.

HQ Emu is MUCH more stable but EQEmu has more features, in the end I think HQ Emu will be better but for now I think EQEmu is

I've been watching both emus for quite a while. EQEmu has been best for a while, and has been heading in a better direction (until recently when it began to look like the developers quit working on it or something). Currently HQ's emu is the only publicly available release that supports the latest Everquest software, but with that their battle code as well as many other fundamental parts are still inoperable. I think at this point all we can do is wait and see if EQEmu begins development again, or if HQ's emu takes advantage of the situation and catches up... Only time will tell...
