Windows tab order

Not exactly EQEmu related.. but eq related question.

I box a few chars on one computer and I am used to having them in order to remember what windows tab is for what char.

Problem is if one crash's, the first being the worst, I have to relog them all to put the tabs back in order.

Has anyone a solution to move the tabs around on the taskbar? using xp.

Thanks
Zraz

Unfortunately the only solution I know of off hand is the one you pointed out of re-logging all of them in.

If your PC can handle it, you can do it the way I do. I normally box up to 4 and sometimes a couple extras if needed. The best way if you are boxing 4 or less is to set your eq windows to 1024X768 and then set your windows resolution to something considerably higher. Then just position each window in each corner of the screen. Then all you have to do is click on the window you want to activate it. The bonus is that you can see at least part of all of the windows at once and switch through them very quickly. And if one crashes, you will know which one and can load it and move it back easily.

If boxing more than 4, just stick a melee class or one you don't need to do much on to overlap another melee class. Then you just click the tab on the taskbar for that class when needed. Works great for me. It is especially nice on a widescreen.

Thanks for the link.

I normally don't like runing small exe's from the net... ill have to pass it over a few virus checkers first :)

I don't blame you - like I said, I googled it but didn't try it.
