EQW Resolution
Anybody know how I would change my EQW resolution outside of EQ by editing some file so I could set it to the same as my desktop?
|
no way to do it out of eqw unless do this, go onto eqlive and change resolution from there, it worked for me, and if you set resolution too low inside EQW it will go mini where you can see nothing, so go into eqlive and do it from there

Hopefully that will work for me :D Thanks alot ;)

The resolution setting is in the eq.ini <-- think that is the name, ini file anyhow. But as I recall it is 1 - 4 or something like that.
Look for screen resolution or some such thing. 1 = 640x480 2 = 800x600 3 = 1024x768 4 = 1280x1024 |
welcome, I had the same problem when I tried to change my resolution in EQW, but if you change in normal EQ it will also change EQWs resolution

Well there was Eqclient.ini,I didn't see anything that would of changed resolution though. There was also Eqw.ini for eqwindow, some of the document excluding out the hotkeys that was in the document looked like this:
[Positions] 640by480X=67 640by480Y=8 800by600X=109 800by600Y=72 1024by768X=-3 1024by768Y=-12 1280by1024X=-131 1280by1024Y=-140 1600by1200X=-291 1600by1200Y=-228 Would this effect anyhing or these just positions for something in eqwindow? |
Thats it, eqclient.ini I have got to stop posting from work :p
Look for resolution, or screen mode something along those lines, and it will be equal to 1 thru 4 perhaps higher |
Exactly where would it be in Eqclient.ini? I would imagine it would be under [defaults] because the other 2 are just for hits mode and text colors. Would it be video mode or something like that?
|
try looking under video mode, ive never personally opened up eqclient.ini but if theres a video mode section, it will most likely be there
