strange issues
 

after about a day running eqemu a few zones crash. then the error report stuff comes up. then the eqemu folder opens for every crashed zone (very annoying). after trying to close the folders a bunch of explorer.exe's start opening and bloating up. then the desktop starts freaking out and flickering. if i manager to close the largest explorer.exe it kinda fixs. im running vista ultimate 32bit. also every time a zone crashs it creates a tail spin cpu useage jumps to 100% and stays there till every zone is crashed unless i try to fight it thru the taskmanager.

i think i found part of the problem it seems to happen. mostly when a unflaged player trys to enter a req flag zone with out there flag the zone crashs. then a dynamic zone trys to pick it up where the static left off and also crashs.

pot keeps crashing and i dont know why.

Are you the only one on the server or are other people there too that might be causing crashes? If it is just you, what class is your GM character? I know there is a specific crash caused by bards and if you made a bard GM, I suspect you probably also trained most or all AAs for the character and one of the AAs causes zones to crash every time you try to log that Bard in. This is just one idea.

If you can post a log of your world and zones, that should help to find the source of the problem.

i am able to enter any zone in the game with no issues at all. now that there are high lvl players on my server they are entering the planes and at least every 24 hours i come back to the server to find Pot crashed. the server trys to compinsate with one of the fail safe dynamic zones ive setup. but even then players try to enter and the dynamic zone of pot crashs. the error seems to be that the players trying to enter are not flaged and when they are booted back in to pot the zone crashs.
