Can't get past server select.
 

I'm stumped. I am sure I've read every support post, but I cant get past server select.

I have the 5 titanium disks. Installed as directed. No patching occurred. eqhost.txt altered as directed.
Running a duo amd with 2gig ram. geforce 7600. (comp blasts wow on high settings, so eq shouldn't be a problem..). Runfirst installed and setup.

I can login, get server select, pick any one of the servers, and I get the same results each time.. screen blacks up, and no matter how long I patiently wait, it stays blacked , with a small blue line along the bottom (don't know if thats significant but ill mention it) ctrl-alt-del brings up task manager, which shows eq as not responding.

Any suggestions? or link to a post I might have missed on this? It's frustratin me.

Im kind of having the same problem, i choose a server, ive tried most if not all of them, i click Login and it just stays there not doing anything. I do it in window mode but it still just sticks there and doesnt do anything. Fresh Install, changed eqhost, logged in and got to server select and now nothing.

I'm having the same problem. I get to server selection, but then after I choose a server, nothing happens. Eventually server screen goes black.

This is my first attempt to play EQemu, so there is a pretty good chance that I'm screwing up. So I'll keep reading threads in the hope that the error is on my end. But I have no idea what it could be as of yet.

Of course, is it possible that new players are being kept out of the system right now? I saw in the news section that new accounts were being blocked to keep bots out.

Well i figured out my problem, i had Escape to Norrath installed, uninstalled it and reinstalled Titanium, i can login now, but ive not tried them all.

Thanks! I did the same thing - uninstalled Escape to Norrath - still nothing worked. Then I also deleted the Escape to Norrath installer program and EQ Titanium. I then reinstalled Titanium and got right into a server!
