Sigh help please.

When trying to start any of the servers I get the loading screen and then it jumps to the main login screen. I get no error message and the game is still running. I have tried a large number of things at this point.

Updated videodrivers, Downloaded the MS patch for xp 2 core systems, tried gns affinity program to make it run on one core, downloaded the 2 amd programs listed in the 2 core issues guide, and I probably forgot a few.

Any one know of any thing else i could try, or think it may be some problem other then a 2x core system :(

Thanks

Tadaka

Did you try running in compatibility mode as directed in the dual core guide? That is one thing that seems to help some people.

Also, which OS are you running? XP or Vista? I know Vista has some problems with EQ and can cause problems like this, but I think compatibility mode fixes it.

You might want to post your system hardware specs as well.

One thing I would definitely try is to try setting your resolution to something different in the options menu at the login screen. After you change settings in the options there, you will need to exit EQ completely and restart it for changes to take effect. You can also try setting that in your eqclient.ini file. And maybe even try running in windowed mode. Sometimes certain resolutions can cause weird crashes when loading to the char select screen. Give that a shot and let us know how it goes.

Other than that, the only other thing I can think of offhand is maybe you need to uninstall eq and delete the directory and then reinstall a fresh LEGAL copy of EQ Titanium. No other version of EQ will work and it has to be legal, not some illegal download or something.
