Logging into the server select screen
 

Hello all, I've been playing the emulator for several weeks now, and recently It has been becoming more difficult for me to log in. I don't know why, and I see no reason why it should be doing this.

When I type in my account name and password, it'll either freeze there and tell me there is server maitenance/there was a timeout, (60% of the time) or log into the server select where it'll either show no servers, or i'll be able to select one and it will just send me back to the account log in screen (35% of the time)

It's just immensely odd because if I try for a long enough period of time, say, 30 minutes, I can get through.

I'm aware this could just be a basic issue and I'm going to look like an idiot, but I can't seem to figure it out on my own.

Anyone got any ideas?

Turn off your P2P programs on ALL PCs in your house. That would cause major network congestion and isn't friendly with EQ. Also, make sure you aren't running a firewall or installed any new antivirus or any other security software around the time that the problem started. Otherwise, give more info on your network and what hardware, connection setup, connection speed, and anything else you can think of.
