updated server today problem
 

i have a player reporting that his endurance in not regening past 40% and endurance spells are not healing it..

he did not notice the problem before i updated the server to the newest binarys today..

is this a bug in that version?

Have him log out and back in. It should resolve his issue. I have had players see this issue with mana as well and a log out/in always fixes it. Probably zoning would as well.

Most likely the reason that is happening is because you have something different setup on your server. Either level cap over 70, deleveling NPCs (used only on my server as far as I know), custom spells, etc. I know when I do a #showstats on players with that bug, it shows their mana as normal and full as it should, but I don't know if #showstats shows endurance or not.

I think there might have been another way to fix it too, but I can't recall it offhand. I don't think it has anything to do with the new binaries. On my server, I do have endurance setup to regen at a very high rate (set in the rules) because as it is, it takes forever for it to go back up normally.

more testing seems he was not stuck at 40% he was jsut regening really slow and endurance spells where not healing him.. but it seems the endurance on the#showstats command is reading wrong everyone on my server shows the same endurance.

he has over 10k endurance and it goes down fast and regens really slow..

is the endurance medding code working? is there something i can do to fix the Regen rate but not make it to much for everyone?

In the rule_values table, you should have an option to adjust regen rates for HPs, Mana and Endurance (each separately). I think my endurance regen rate is adjusted to like 500% or maybe more. The current endurance regen rates are insanely slow.

ok thanks trevius. i was not sure if doing something like that would make it to much for the others. i saw the table just did not know how high i should set it i set it at 500 now see how that does.
