Need help with connecting to my server
 

Hello all. i Followed the exact guide on the wiki, i got up unto the part when you create the shortcut called start.bat im using vista and this is all that shows up when i open the start.bat

You might try launching world.exe manually, and then launch a few zone.exe manually. That's all that .bat is doing really. They're in your eqemu folder.

thanks i found out my problem, got server up and running etc got gm commands working, but now i need to get GeorgeS Item editor, BUT ,, his download link is down or his site or w.e

That is the first time I have seen that lol. I think he hosts his site on his home PC, so either his internet is out or his power is out. Just a guess though.

I expect it will be back up soon enough.

I run vista too and I needed it before it would work.

edit: you need to reboot before it will take effect.
