There are both Private and Public servers. If you want to run your own server and play on it by yourself, you can do that. If you want to play on someone elses server with other people, you can do that as well.

There are about 50 servers to chose from right now. Though, only the top 10 or 15 actually have decent population sizes.

Welcome to eqemulator! If you played EQ before, be prepared to fall in love with the game again :)

BTW, you will NOT be able to play the emulator with the download for the EQLive trial. You will need to buy the EQ Titanium package and install it.

is this a server or a prgram to make a server

and can i just get the titanium iso torrent

Illegal copies of EQ are not supported on these forums and talking about them at all will get your account banned.

Yes, the emulator itself is a program to run a server. But, if you just want to play on someone else's existing server, all you need to do is buy Titanium and then change 1 file and create a shortcut on your desktop as described in the wiki page I linked.

what server has the most people or the best one that you suggest

and sorry for my previous comment

There are alot of servers and all of them are different. Once you have the game running, you can log into the login server and you will see a server list of all of the servers. You can easily see from there exactly which servers have the highest player numbers. Pretty much any server with more than 10 characters on it is probably worth checking out.

Here is a small list of some (but not all) of the popular ones.
