Item database not loading/zone.exe crashes
 

So my server is up and running fine. people log in and out often. Had a few zone issues, but most have been fixed. Now i get sporatic zone.exe crashes. I usually chalk these up to some idiot trying to #zone into a locked zone. But the problem is that these crashes, after a couple of them, seem to keep new zone.exe's from loading the item database. it can even stop previous zone.exe's to load the database.

A quick reset of the Worldserver is the fix i have, but thats not right for my players to have to log out because some idiot crashes a zone server. Any one have help for me?

I used to suffer zone crashes here and there untill I switched to Linux... If they are very frequent you could start by checking logs.

I'm more worried about the items not loading. I cant even summon them.

does the items table exist in the database? might have some corruption there.
