Easy Question

I am trying to figure out the way the heading value works as far as spawning npcs and so far I have not been able to see how the value works. I assumed there was a 0 point in one direction (north?) and then it increased as the heading went left or right (so east or west) but for some reason that doesn't seem to be the case. I also noticed ppl have posted about using /loc to find headings but my /loc command doesn't show a fourth (heading) value, just x, y, z. I am using cavedude's pack on an XP machine. Anyone able to answer a newbie question here?

use #loc instead

And, don't forget to target yourself first. If you target an NPC when you do #loc, it will give the loc of that NPC. As long as your target is yourself or nothing, then you will get your own location.

Ah, I didn't know about the #loc command, thanks! Luckily my senior moment wasn't quite that bad Trevius but thanks for the reply.
