zone crashes

well not sure how to put all this. running win64 with all my server apps x86.
running peq with the most uptodate release.
and i decked out my toon with a hortus 1-h and all the praetrain gear.
made my toon 200lvl and went to sleeper. killed all the way down to the sleepers toon and got passed the gate. started the first dragon and boom the zone died. did this 3 times and the same thing. is the hortus too fast for the zone or is it something else.

The instance of zone.exe will give you an error message before it crashes.

The catch is that the window will usually close before you can read it. So what you need to do is start a command prompt and CD to the eqemu directory and start a zone instance from the command line rather than just double clicking on zone.exe or using some .bat script.

Come back with the error number/description.

If you are using items that have "unknown" focus effects, it will crash zones if you use procs or spells that try to use those effects. That is my guess as to what the cause is for your crashes. Though, without modifying the source code, the max level usable should be 127 if I recall correctly, so your level 200 could also be at least partially to blame.

well i changed my level to 127 and it crashed at the same point. (engageing the first dragoon)

cmd
cd c:\eqemu
world.exe

cmd
cd c:\eqemu
zone.exe

changed my lvl to 127
open the gate to the sleeper tome
attacked the first dragon on the left
start killing
zoned crashed.

useing the most up to date peq
and havent changed the dp at all.
i think i might have changed the stats on the weapon. going to resource the db to correct the stats
