... work with the Hackersquest emu team ( www.hackersquest.org ) to make only one and GOOD eq emu... Union Makes Forces... Instead of making slowly two emu, you should only make a playable one... They're both playable yes, but they both sucks...

I think it will never happen. 1 group is using mysql and the other Ruby. Both will say that the way they do it is better than the other but who knows. Miracles do happen.

Probably wont happen. Zordon e-mailed one of our devs a while back with the idea of making one loginserver for both emu's (basicly meaning we work together in some way). But once given the EQEmu Loginserver Sourcecode (non public version), he never wrote back and was never heard from again... hehe

its too bad... the code could be used by both emus no ? even if they're not running by the same "way"...
And for both emus, at this speed, we'll be able to play EQ for free when EQ 3 'll be out ... :(

Common item database.. (Well, not really. But, people here can convert EthQuest item DB to EQEMu format)
