Username / Password not correct

Got titanium installed correctly, changed the shortcut, and host. I also made two login names here for the server. Still says my username / password is wrong on both accounts. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? Would very much appreciate any feedback at all.

Thanks

Make sure you're logging into EQ with LOGIN SERVER accounts and not EQEmulator.net accounts.

Login Server accounts are created through the User CP.

Yeah I just checked Login Server, under the User CP, both those names are in there, yet neither of them works. I installed Titanium in it's own folder, so none of the new files are in there, changed the Host File, and made the shortcut with the "patchme" shortcut and everything. Not quite sure what could be going wrong here.

Nobody else has been having this problem, or has any input on what it might be doing?

Try setting your passwords to be 6 characters. I know it will allow less or slightly more than 6 characters, but I know for sure that 6 will work every time. If they are too long, it will truncate them and will give you an error like you are seeing when you try to log in.

Ok, I think one thing thats wierd is that my EQLive account usernames/passwords work for it, but the ones I made here don't. I listened to everything that I was told, change the Host, change the Target of the shortcut, make a forum name, make login names/passwords, and still getting it. Why would EQLive accounts work, but regular ones dont?

LOL, the only reason for that is because you messed up and didn't change your eqhost file properly. Then, you connected to live instead. By connecting to live, you may have already gotten some patch files. I would suggest trying to start the whole playerguide install over again from scratch to be sure. You may need to uninstall EQ and delete the directory before you start it again just to be sure.

Though, you can always try making 100% sure your eqhost.txt file is correctly setup. Make sure you don't have any spaces at the end of any of the lines in that file or it will break.
